baby feet!

Mia has found her feet! It's so cute watching her reach for them, pretty soon she'll have those cute little toes in her mouth.

We have given up on the bassinet and graduated to the crib! See how cramped it was getting in there!

She's also strong enough to sit up by herself in her jumper and saucer. She likes them both, but only for about 15 minutes at a time. She really likes talking to Jackson's horse.

She's getting so big so fast! Today I'm cleaning out her drawers again... for the third time =(. I'm sad to put away the little outfits that she's outgrown. I'll make them all into a quilt one day.

Jackson is getting big too. I haven't had to clean his drawers out in a while, but I'm sure I will soon. He's starting to talk so much more, it's amazing how much these little ones learn so fast. His favorite new saying is "I shy".

Yesterday we took Jackson and Mia to their first movie. I know, what was I thinking, right? I've really been wanting to see Night At The Museum 2, and since Jacob and Stephanie were with us, I thougth it couldn't be that bad. We went to the late show too, so there wouldn't be as many people to annoy. Well, Mia made it about 20 minutes, when I got up to walk her {yes, she's spoiled and we "walk" her all the time}, Jackson came with me and took that as he was free to run wild! So Jacob ended up leaving early with the kids while Steph and I finished the movie- kid free.

Anyways, the movie was sO fuNNy! Go see iT!! {but don't take your 2 year old!}

I can't believe Jackson is going to be two in a month!

These are pictures from our trip to Vegas three years ago. We stayed at the Wynn {absolutely beautiful} and had a fabulous time. We came home broke, but we had fun!

Our next trip will probably be to Arizona to see Mimi and Papa... and maybe Disney Land. =D

i haven't been feeling crafty lately. i haven't done a project in weeks. well, i made a bag for a little girl yesterday, but that was because I had to, not because i wanted to! i haven't even been crafting with the girls on craft tuesdays! what's wrong with me.... this isn't normal. if you find my mojo before i do, send it over.

Absolutely Beautiful Day!

Jackson and I left Mia with Grandma so we could have some fun at the park! The weather was absolutely beautiful . We better enjoy it, soon it will be nothing but hot sweaty days!

the dress

So the shop is going well. I've had 5 orders this week! I still have things I need to post, but I've been slacking. Maybe I'll get that done durring naptime today.

I made my first dress recently, I love the way it turned out. I'll be putting some up in my shop soon.

But other than that, not much new. Jackson found a box of fruit snacks in a target bag laying around, so that's what he's having for breakfast this morning (while he's dancing along with the Imagination Movers). And Miss Mia is in her bassinet (which she's getting too big for) talking to her birdie mobile. She's growing so fast. She's begining to grasp her toys and she loves her baby gym.

I can't believe Jackson is going to be two in less than two months! I don't think we're doing a big party this time around. Maybe just a family and a few friends. He's really been into trains lately, so I thought I'd make him a train cake. He really likes the one on display at HEB, but I'd rather make it myself. We'll see how that goes!

Well, I'm off to buy some tutu supplies....
